For your Lake District Holiday we have two privately owned Self Catering Log Cabins where well behaved dogs and children are welcome. We are situated in a quiet, elevated position in the popular White Cross Bay Leisure Park on Windermere ideal for touring the Lake District in Cumbria. We are in a quiet wooded area of the Park where, during off peak periods deer can be spotted early in the morning. The Park is located at Troutbeck Bridge just off the A591 voted the most favourite 'A' road in England.

Use of the Park facilities are unrivalled. Whatever your preferred leisure pastimes are at White Cross Bay there is enough choice to provide a full and relaxing holiday without even venturing off the park. Deer roam the park amongst the rabbits and wild flowers.

Like many bodies of water around the world, Windermere is reputed to contain one or more large, unusual fish or animals.
The Centre for Fortean Zoology, claims there have been many sightings of a giant eel-like creature in the lake stretching
