enjoyable and relaxing time. A nice way to have a birthday. We were
hoping for snow but still waiting. The dog ‘Otis’ just loved the fire
and asked if he could take it with him!!!

Wray Castle is also a short distance.

Fantastic cabin, lovely holiday park. Visited some lovely near-by towns
and C and J enjoyed their walks at White Moss Woods. We tucked into a
beautiful Chinese from ‘China Cottage’ at Ambleside – we’ve left the
menu in the wicker basket. Loved the Lakes – sad to be leaving. Thanks
for an amazing stay!

Had a great
few days away. Crammed loads in as usual. Shame the weather was so bad.
However, bright side of the weather was seeing and photographing
fantastic rainbows. As usual the scenery is magnificent and Wasdale Head
is still one of those remote amazing locations well worth the drive.
Really comfy bed. Thanks.

the cabin on a ‘Google’ search when Mam (E) said she fancied staying in
a log cabin for her 70th birthday. We are soooo glad we found
This Place! You have really thought of everything in this cabin to make
it a fabulous stay. The position of it in a quiet corner of The Park is
lovely (although we never discovered a noisy corner to be honest!) M
liked his walks around the site.

comfortable and cosy log cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in a
very quiet area of the Park. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again
sometime in the near future. Highly recommended.
G and A,
16th - Friday 20th September
really enjoyed our holiday; we found the cabin well equipped and cosy. A
perfect place to stay while enjoying the sights of the Lake District.
Would happily return.

August, 1 week.
It was very
neat and the rooms were well presented. Also it was very cosy and there
were a few nice places for reading because the lighting was perfect. We
really have enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming again if
we get the chance.

3rd August – 10th August 2013
our third visit to the cabin and it has been fantastic as always. Been
lovely coming back with lots of fond memories from past visits (E was 10
months on the first and now 6yrs next month!!) Facilities wonderful,
really is home from home. (Bit sad to see the sale sign !!) Enjoyed a
visit to Lowther Castle after years of wanting to look round. Trip to
Pooley Bridge cafe went down well with the children. Recommend Beatrix
Potter trip in Windermere as kids loved it.
you so much, hoping to come again soon.

was as brilliant as ever. Our 3rd time stopping here but a
first for Grandad and R. Had lovely weather and crammed so much into 4
days. Went on a Steamboat tour to the Lakeside Aquarium, went to
Wetheriggs Zoo, Penrith – more like a farm but fab for little ones. At
the cabin we fed the ducks at the marina and went swimming on site, R
played on the swings and had fun climbing in the play park.
Thank for a
lovely place to stay once again.

Me and my family enjoy much in Windermere area for all the Lakes and

excellent – comfortable, cosy and in the best location on the site. The
only shame was that there was so much we wanted to do in our short time
here that we didn’t seem to have the time to just relax and enjoy it to
the full. Apart from my own visit in my teens, it was everyone else’s
first visit to the Lakes and they all fell in love with it and I’m sure
we’ll come again.
